This abstract piece is inspired by Psalm 18.6:
In my trouble I called to the Lord.
I cried out to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice;
my call for help reached his ears.
The painting is about God coming to help, about him drawing near and bringing a rescue plan. The gold leaf in the painting dance in the light and symbolise answered prayer.
The painting is very textured and measures approx I metre by 1 metre and is painted on a beautifully home made stretched canvas.
