The original painting was created for a video for the Baptist family of Churches the month before the pandemic. It felt like in all the pain and misery of what was to come, despite all the lose and death, Jesus was holding the world in His hands.
The original paintingn of this print is called Cosmic Christ which refers to the Theological term that Jesus is not only flesh and blood, but the One whom all things have been created.
Hebrews chapter 1 vs 1&2 states:
'On many past occasions and in many different ways, God spoke to our fathers through the prophets. But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe.
