I had a picture of a waterfall. A falling of the Spirit. A quenching that was relentless. A pouting that was continuous. It didn’t run dry.
It was a prophetic picture for Fresh Streams conference in 2019 and as I pondered the title of the painting one of the worship team shared a line from a song which I think it’s from this song:
I have a song, a simple song
For You Jesus, my master
I'm longing for You more and more
You're my deepest desire
I wanna live down by Your river of love
I wanna stay under the waterfall
And drink the water that's from heaven above
Over and over again
I can't live without You
I can't live without You
The scriptures declare:
‘Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.’ Psalm 42.7
