One of the hardest things to do as an artist is to stop. This painting stopped after five brush strokes. I wanted to restrict the movement of paint and the amount of 'work' I took on this painting. Perhaps it is a reminder to simplify things, to restrict the amount and settle with a lower nunber. To be content.
