This print of the abstract painting is very textured and is all about arriving at the seaside. It's that eager expectation and longing as you venture to the coast, and living in rural Cambridgshire whenever we do visit the seaside I have that moment of seeing the sea and I greet it keenly!
The original painting measures approx 110cm by 80cm and was created using acrylic paints, inks, spray paint and gold leaf paint.
This print is printed using the Giclée technique of printing, and is on Hahnemühle German Etching, which is a traditional mould-made copperplate printing paper, complete with an inkjet coating designed especially for FineArt applications.
Here's the techbical bit: The white art paper is made from 100% alpha cellulose is characterised by its extraordinary velvety tactile feel and its fine, clearly defined felt structure. The unique surface texture adds a very special touch to images, showcasing them in all their splendour with impressive three-dimensional effect and depth.
