Last year I was inspired by Holkham Beach, watching someone flying a kite in the spacious place of the vast beach. It inspired me to think about that promise in scripture:
He brought me out into a spacious place;
he rescued me because he delighted in me. Psalm 18.19
Recently I went for a day with my wife and our youngest to walk and the space was immense. I found my self singing in the spirit, ‘You’ve brought me into a spacious place.’
I paused and watched the Sanderlings running frantically in and out as the waves pushed them up the beach and they chased the waves back into the sea. It made me laugh! Such space and beauty and goodness.
