‘Rescuer and Restorer’
102cm by 76cm
This painting inspired by Psalm 71 seems to fit this living water themed collection.
In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame.
In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me;
turn your ear to me and save me.
Be my rock of refuge,
to which I can always go;
give the command to save me,
for you are my rock and my fortress.
Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked,
from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.
For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord,
my confidence since my youth.
This painting is created using acrylic inks, acrylic paint and spray paint.
The silver and blues point to another realm, an eternal home where we find our nourishment on earth.
This painting is part of an exhibition at Foxhill House and Woodlands and you can see the original painting in this short film of a tour around the house with the paintings in situ.
