Recently, when serving as chaplain on the beautiful island of Bardsey off the Welsh North coast I was mesmerised by the colours of the island!
It was as if I had put on a new pair of spectacles! Colours seemed to pop out and engulf me like never before.
This painting seeks to capture the grey's and silvers that come when the island is washed with rain and mist. It's he view from where the chaplain stays up to the mountain!
You can see a film of an exhibition I put on for the island here:
This painting measures 51 by 51cm and is painted on a thin canvas board.
