Hope. The joyful anticipation of good. Holding onto hope can be hard especially in times of darkness and suffering.
In the letter to the Romans Paul outlines how key hope in suffering is for us. It's one of those verses that I wish didn't exist in the bible! It's tough to read, let alone to implement! Yet we need to be people who supernaturally can rejoice in those times of darkness!
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5.3-5
This is my prayer for you, that somehow you may rejoice in hard times. May this painting spark that within you!

Printed on fine art paper, with a beautiful texture.
The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients. It has a delicate surface, so I recommend extra care when handling. Photorag is suitable for mounting but its cotton texture means edges can fray if not carefully handled.
The limited edition print comes signed on the back with The title of the painting too and what limited print number it is too.
