Painted live at the 2025 Baptist Assembly.
This semi abstract piece seeks to capture the depth and breadth of God's presence and love for us! As I painted it, I felt there was such a hunger and longing for God amongst the Baptist family! For God to do what He does. For God to do what He is famous for: signs and wonders, healing and salvation, redeeming mess and breathing new life!
The seas in the painting may be seen as white fields and the golden blue sky, the Glory of God.
The painting was created using inks, acrylic paints and spray paint with lots of water! The painting started with the words 'come Holy Spirit' where blended into the background.
Here's the technical bit: The white art paper is made from 100% alpha cellulose is characterised by its extraordinary velvety tactile feel and its fine, clearly defined felt structure.
The unique surface texture adds a very special touch to images, showcasing them in all their splendour with impressive three-dimensional effect and depth.
