Empowered- Canvas Print

I painted this live at the 2023 Fresh Streams conference. A gathering of mainly Baptist ministers and leaders. 

Empowered was the theme of the conference and this painting is all about the Holy Spirit coming to us. 

The painting was created with layers of pastel, water, acrylics, spray paint and more pastels.

The text of the baptism of Jesus is within the background:

When all the people were being baptised, Jesus was baptised too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” (Luke 3- from the Bible.)
