The Smell Of Salvation- Canvas Print

Originally painted at Fresh Streams conference 2024, the painting started with writing on pastel the following words from 2 Corinthians 2, found in the bible:

For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. 

The reason for the painting was in a time of prayer with a friend we were praying for someone to meet with God and become a Christian. It was as we prayed that I encountered a 'strange smell.' It wasn't unpleasant, quite the opposite really. The smell was beautiful and filled me with hope. 'It's the smell of salvation' came to my being as I took a big sniff in!
