This one is part of a series of paintings based on the colours of Psalm 23.
I wanted to capture the colours that are evoked in me as I read Psalm 23.
I often journal in my bible and use water colour paints or inks to represent themes, feelings and emotions in response to scripture.
These 4 new paintings are a step on from my own private reflections, inviting an audience to consider the Psalm through colours and direction of brushstroke and flow of ink. I hope that looking upon these abstract paintings with some of the key words, that the Psalm would speak powerfully afresh to you.
The original paintings were created over Christmas 2024, as a prayerful study of the colours of Psalm 23.
The four original paintings were created using acrylics, spray paint and inks with some pigments too.
