Originally painted at an Easter festival at The Ark Church in Isleham near Ely, this painting was created in response to the worship and songs... A sense of the Glory of God and raising praise to Him. Mou rains formed as I painted and I wanted to show the enormity of God's glory. Look out for the tiny boat. It was the process of painting that belt important. Lots of pouring down. Water and inks. Such a joy to paint!
As I reflected on the painting I felt led to read these words from Psalm 72:
Let the mountains give exuberant witness;
shape the hills with the contours of right living.
The original painting is on a beautiful professional canvas and measures approx 130 cm by 95cm.
