When I serve as chaplain on Bardsey, I sit still and look. Sometimes I take hours just soaking in the familiar and never tiring view. This was a sketch looking and observing the beauty of the island towards the lighthouse.
The paintings I produced this year reflected the fragility of life represented by grasses and flowers in the field, but also reveal the energy and colour of the island that always brings me close to God as I see His beauty in creation.
It's painted using acrylic inks and pen.

This painting measures 23cm squared in size and is painted on a thin canvas board and is be presented in a home made reclaimed wooden frame.
