Inspired by a new way of using masking tape in smaller water colour paintings I’ve produced two new larger paintings on chunky canvases.
They oooze the influence of Bardsey island off the Lyn Peninsula.
Stand taller is about standing like the grasses reaching for the sun with all their might! It’s about standing in as a son or daughter in the eyes of a proud parent.
The painting is made using acrylic inks and acrylic paint, poster paint, masking tape and sealed with a clear varnish. It’s painted on a beautiful chunky canvas measuring approx 104cm by 42cm.
